Hello fellas,
I've searched the forums and found no answer to my needs. I have an ASK WSX and have had it for nearly a year collecting dust in the corner. The problem with the panel is that the ribbon cable inside connecting the board and lcd had one of the connectors come off. I wish i could solder it but it is too small. Anyone have any clue if they would be able to solder it? I'm willing to pay up to $50 if anyone would be able to fix it.

hmmm, what are the specs on that panel?

I remember reading somewhere that it is 1280 x 1024 native or something. Didn't seem right to me, do you know what the native is?

I'm pretty certain specs are 1024x768 native but can go up to 1280x1024(compressed i believe). That's why I needed someone to fix the ribbon cable/strip for me. It's too small for me to do . Here's a very useful link for a lot of panel's specs http://members.cox.net/rolm/results.html

I do alot of sodering using digital micscopes. Could you most a pic of what were looking at or could you send me a pic? Thanks - Alex

I don't have the best camera, hoefully its enough to see it. I also found a new connector for it, as the one in the picture is the old one. Hopefully it is repairable

Alex, if your still interested in doing the job let me know. I really want to fix the cable because the panel is just so bad *** 😀 . If you use aim we can chat realtime...my aim is jaws2124. Thanks again man, your the best.
