Parts Connexion has these for $5 USD each. Looks like a good deal. Anybody have an opinion on these? I'll use them in the HV supply of a SET tube amp.
Metalized rather than film so not huge current handling(*), and probably more inductive than most, but the price is right. Are they dumping unwanted stock or is it a mistake?

I would try to find some oil filled Shizuki capacitors on ebay. Shizuki and Asc are somehow related. The Japanese caps are very well made. Even if they are just metalized caps they can supply enough current for any SE amp and by the way if you want the best results you should try to go for a choke input power supply. Greetings, Eduard
