I got mine from VPI for $55 delivered in 2 weeks. Origin Live US dealer wanted $90. There's got to be a cheaper source out there.

Scout around on eBay/ charity shops for v. cheap TTs. They all have an arm lift that is based on a couple of peices of plastic and some viscous damping- cut the plastic and you have an ugly armlift.

Have a look at this. May be a bit expensive. Looks good though.

VPI dont list one on there site.

VPI does not list them and you can't pay with a credit card. Also, they are on the other side of the pond. I got lifts from VPI last year for my Schroeder clones and they look exactly the same as the ones phonotools sell, same price.

I am rebuilding my Thorens TD160 and do not want to use the lift from this unit, as it's too big underneath. Does anyone know where I could get something like this one from phonotools? I don't think they would send it to New Zealand...........
And the NZ Dollar makes it over $100. the miss's wouldn't stand for that
