I know there's Butler (impossible they're really using the tubes at the plate voltages they use), there's Milbert - too expensive, and US Amps - not good reviews on the boards although I tried a 2-channel one a member had but until I replace my HU it was hard to tell as my MC245 sounded better.
I'm a tube junkie in the home and really was hoping someone made a tube amp that sounded like a tube amp for the car.

That's crazy!!!
I've actually seen this one before. Not a snap to mount this puppy and 6550s generate a load of heat. I can't imagine it will take the bumps well (sportscar). Crazy though. I applaud them.

Never saw that one. Great tube selection. Bummer on 2-channel although makes sense. I guess its needs that outboard ps?
Again - ton o heat from that puppy.
Thanks for the link - interesting.
I'm thinking probably 9-pin tubes as octals just need a lot of plate voltage and dissipate way too much heat.

Tru is very cool looking. I saw this one before on the web too but lost the link. Thanks for that.
Looks gigantic. Wish I had the space...

It's doubtful they sell them in the US. You could try contacting them to see if they'll sell directly but I believe they carry a pretty hefty price tag.
There are also several tube hybrids like Genesis, Blade, Mark Anthony, Planet Audio and several others.

Thanks everyone and especially you Ca90ss.
How about another tack.
Has everyone ever really put the US Amp 4360 tube amp through its paces? SQ?

I used the old usamps tube gear back in 98-99?? Was years ago. IMO tubes do not belong in cars 🙂 Hope that helps *LOL* DLS seems to be winning a LOT of sq comps with there limited tube amp.
garage.
You're probably right.
Ok, what the most "tube like" 4 channel amp? Can't be giant. Have limited space.

Surprised to not see a mention of Milbert. They have been at it for a LOOONG time. Wish I had one!
