I'm holding in my hand an Arcturus Detector No. 12 blue vacuum tube with a top evacuation tip, but it appears to be an indirectly heated tube. I've googled and can't find any info on it. The tube is not on a UX-4 base, it's a five-pin base. Any information would be appreciated.
I have a pair of these beauties still waiting around for me to finally make a pre-amp out of. TDSL Tube data [27]
Solved! When I first saw it, I thought 27 too, but the base was hot-stamped 12. I got it home under a strong light and I can see the faintest imprint of 7. It's not easily visible in normal room lighting, and it is a bit dirty. The base is tight and it tests as a strong 27.
