Archos 160 gigabyte portable touch screen media player + matching docking station. While older,it has some features not found in ipods etc. It is plug and play with with any operating system and supports a much wider range of both video and file formats. The Linux software can be modded if desired.
I purchased all the extra plug-ins so it can do JPEG, BMP and PNG photos; Audio :Stereo MP3 decoding @ 30-320 Kbits/s CBR & VBR, WMA, Protected WMA, WAV (PCM/ADPCM), , AAC stereo audio files ,AC3 stereo audio and 5.1 sound files. Video support includes DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.264 +AAC, MPEG-2 AC3 5 and WMV .
The included docking station comes with SVideo and Component outs as well as a coax digital output and a fast charging function. File copying is a simple matter of drag and drop over usb. Recording from video source is either composite or SVideo. Media streaming is supported under Upnp as is Wifi (B/G). Input is a combination of touch and/or physical buttons as well as a full QWETY remote .

Everything is included and fully functional - all cables, remote , docking station, charger , USB proprietary cables,stylus , headphones, carrying case and manuals. It is very solidly built with nice features like a built-in kickstand . Battery and hard drive are both healthy and sourcable.
