AR58s in Cello Stradivari Cabinets

This is a set of speakers I built. A few years ago a friend of mine (Minh Luong, Some of you might know of him from the AR forums) Sold me a set of brand new AR58s drivers and crossover schematics. The 58s drivers are the same as the ones found in the more popular AR91. The cabinet dimensions of the AR58s are smaller then the AR91 and the xover is different. These were probably the last of of speakers AR made with the dome midrange and used speakers built in MA (they ultimately outsourced the driver building to a japanese company). The crossover parts I used are all Solen Caps and Solen inductors. After I acquired these brand new drivers I was thinking about building a box for them but I came across an ad for a brand new set of Cello Stradivari cabinets. The cabinets were literally fresh from the factory, raw unfinished MDF from the Mark Levinson Factory. A tech that worked at the factory got a hold of some before ML closed the Boston factory. These cabs have 1" walls all around and 1" bracing. They also have a type of sound dampening material applied to the inner walls. I painted them black and built them up. These speakers still retain the classic AR sound but with modernized cabs. Im asking $800 for the set, pick up only from NY.
