Hi. I´m interested in AR series crossover in order to apply it in a 3 way design (still thinking about it), but there is not much information about the way it works.
Does anyone know the crossover frequencies you get with this kind of design?. This is the schem:

Thanks.

The AR-SXO is not a magical solution that will do the perfect xo without taking into account which drivers you are using.
I recommend you start your studying with basics of series xo's:

And continue to FRD tools for implemantation:

Hi,
modelling the drivers with Re and Le and using a basic sim e.g. Tina(ti)
(very easy to use - just stick an unconnected op-amp in the corner)
will show you the basics of series crossover operation.

You can then move on to tools that incorporate crossover simulators.

Have a play with Jeff Bagby's series spreadsheet as it does AR xo's but only 2 way. You need FRD and ZMA files and if you can't measure to get them, there is a trace program also available there.

Get the tweeter and mid right using the spreadsheet then start integrating the woofer. You can start with standard Butterworth 1st order values and tweak from there. It will be important to choose a woofer with the right SPL that's higher than the mid and very difficult to find the right one.
I found it a pain and ended up going active with the woofer (I cheated 😉).
