Hi all, as always guidance is super appreciated...
I understand the basics of aperiodic subwoofer design. I've spent a couple full hours reading & researching. This thread was quite useful, though a lot of the links in the threads on this topic here lead to 404's, alas.
I'm looking to make two versions and compare. One will use 2x 10" and one will use 2x 15" drivers per channel, covering 20 - 80 Hz.
For the 10" version, the cabinet volume would be 2,800 cubic inches / 45 cubic liters
For the 15" version, the cabinet volume would be 4,000 cubic inches / 65 cubic liters
Any recs on drivers for these?

Greets!
Here's the two most important missing links, the rest are just images of different ways to make a restrictive reflex vent cutout:

Sorry, finding drivers to fit a particular net volume [Vb] takes more software than I currently have available.

Initial thoughts on volume that small for their respective total sd, particularly the 15s case, you would be looking for mid to low qts/vas drivers and will probably need equalization even with the damped vent.

+1 😀

Thank you! GM, you're great, finding those links...
You're welcome!
Comes from long practice and knowing what to look for, with the web archive a good place to start. 😉

A periodic was a b8g hit in mobile years ago. They would build a grill with damping and install it 9ver the drivers and mount them infinite baffle. The Ap Mats, as they were called, we're specified for each drivers specs.
If I want to use six 6" or 7" drivers for my aperiodic subwoofer, any specific recs?
Anything besides a QTS < 4.5 I should look for?
Thanks again!

should add that I'm looking with a driver that has high power handling, as I'll be throwing a 250w or 500w amp at it, and like to listen loud
