Anyone try rolling op amp in Topping D50s?

Hello,

Have a Topping D50s and would like a bigger soundstage.

As I understand it has a swappable buffer op amp, that currently has a LME49720 op amp. Any suggestions for an op amp in this unit's buffer stage?

(Has ESS9038QM DACs and OPA1612 Soundplus in I/V stage if I understand correctly?)

Any suggestions/advice appreciated?

Bigger soundstage requires some signal processing, not a different opamp. Soundstage can be manipulated by cross-feeding a proportion of each channel into the other, in-phase to reduce it, out of phase to increase it.

Try opa2134 or opa2107... my ears hurts with lme49720 after a few ours of listening... with either of the two opa's i can listen all day long using my diy amp and speaker...
