peranders said:Today I put Firefox 3 into my Mac. What a speed!!! diyaudio.com is loaded with a 2 Mbit line in 1.7 seconds.
Windows Vista and IE7 6.7 seconds!
Besides that, Firefox looks really Macish.compared to the version 2 which like the ugly Windows version

Hi Per,
Are you sure, 6.7s?!

I've a 4Mb line, 1.5MHz P3, XP, IE6 and loads diyaudio in ~1s, about just as fast as FF2
Cheers.
7Mb line, 2Ghz Core Duo, XP SP2, IE7 = 1.39s (with torrent software running in the background)

I've been using Beta Version 3.05b fro a few weeks now. Most of my favorite add-ons are not yet available (and the new version won't let you enable non-secure add-ons). But other than that it's often much faster than the old version. The Release Candidate should be available soon.
I using FF 3 beta5 right now and after I installed these plugins and clear up the context menu with it, I like it a lot
CS Lite plugin - for editing cookies
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5207
Flashblock plugin - kill unwanted flash adverts
http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
Menu editor - to clean up the menu a lot
http://menueditor.mozdev.org/
Only one thing I hate was that FF block me to access certain pages, so type about:config into the URL line to get to the advanced options, then type malware in the search and then:
browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled - false
And that it is, unlocked
