Wish I had a pocket full of money.....sadly, I just saw this on Craigs List and thought this forum would be interested.....wish I was able to take advantage.
Vintage Altec Horns / Drivers / Woofers / Crossovers VOTT (Austin)
I have a bunch of vintage Altec stuff I'd like to sell. All of my gear has been tested and is in like new condition.

Here is a list of current gear...

VOTT cabs- complete Voice of the Theater

Everything is in mint condition and comes in pairs (with the exception of the 802-8d)....let me know what interests you. I am not looking to fire sell any of this...I am looking for people who love and appreciate the old Altec stuff like I do and want to use it in their homes or studios.

I had dismantled a pair of Altec Mod. 300 and I'm using the 10 " woofers, which are really nice.
Also the paper cone tweeters, that has been unused for 1-2 years, found their way...in a two way ; I ripped the aluminium dustcap ( WHY 😛 ) and put a wooden phase plug

I used to love to crank them up driven by 50 W SS
Now that I satisfied my passion for high volume, I like to hear'em
at medium-low volume.
Pity is that they're filtered !
But they play still so well 😉
I've seen such 10" similar cones ( grey) on a Peavey 4X bass unit.
