does it have to be these Renasis versions?
There are a number of near equivalents and dual die versions.

Something stinks with Futurlec on these ones... 2SK1058 is quoted at $1.10 (never seen this cheap) while 2SJ162 is quoted at $7.90 (I can get them cheaper from a downtown store, yes, Renesas genuine).

I know Hitachi has it but is Renasis better?

Hitachi semis got into a joint venture with Mitsubishi a couple of years ago, which is called Renesas.

Sorry for the late reply. I assume there is something very wrong too as the price is very much different. Anyway, should I get it??
