Anyone have problems with dust on sticky vintage surrounds?

Like on Altec 755 drivers?

How do you preserve the good sound speakers while keeping your drivers from turning into giant dust bunnies?

I was thinking of a mesh metal grille, sort of like the kind used for car audio, but with a semi-fine weave. What do you think? Can you recommend something?

I suppose regular grille cloth would work, too.

I have had that problem too, it is purely cosmetic.
