Anyone have Crestron cnampx 60 series schematics

Hi everyone:

A friend is attempting to repair a Crestron 60-watt series amp.
Does anyone have schematics for the Crestron /ATI CNAMPX 60 watt series amps? e.g. CNAMPX-2x60, CNAMPX-12x60 etcetera?

While I'm at it, a couple of related questions

- Does each channel module snap in like an interface card with minimal solder joints, or is there lots of wiring to remove to take out one amp channel PCB?

- How long do the caps last in these amps? Can anyone ponder?

Thanks

Hmm...I was just debating whether or not to purchase a used CNAMPX-2X60 off fleabay.

I noticed that this particular model contains 2 toroidal power transformers inside, presumably one per channel.

Do you have any comments about the amp's sound quality?
The spec. sheet states that it's a Class AB design.

My understanding is they were made by ATI who also made other big name amps like Mondial's Acurus line and some of Adcom's older amps.

If I were looking for a schematic, I would try contacting Crestron directly to see if they could send or email you one.
Some companies are reluctant to supply schematics to individuals.

Sorry, I have not heard one, so can't report on sound quality. Build quality is very good, however. The brochures are a good intro and don't lie.

Yes, made by ATI.

Big beefy toroids for the power supplies.
Decent protection circuity all-around
S/N of 110db A-weighted
Plenty of power and current for 4-ohm loads
Very reliable
Powder-coated chassis
Modular, so if one channel breaks, you can replace with another board.

It's a sort of no-nonsense HQ amp, without all the snobbery and the fancy aesthetics, from what I've read and heard from others.

Would you be willing to report back on your experience with sound quality?
BTW, these are one of Linkwitz's preferred amps for the Phoenix and some of his other design projects. He thinks very highly of them.

I just spoke with Crestron tech. support. Acc. to the rep. with whom I spoke, Crestron guarantees the caps in this series of amps for only 3 years. When I asked what brand of capacitors they used in the amps, he told me "we don't give out that information". No luck there.
