Anyone can identify this BurrBrown opamp

The supply voltages I measured are:
pin 7: +40V
pin 4: -40V

Quite high indeed !
Search the TI site,
but OPA2604 has highest voltage ratings of +/-24Vdc, nowhere near.

I assume it's a single opamp...
Anybody ???

Hidden Letters?

Can there be any hidden letters.
I think I can see a field betweeen
BB and 0053 9075, where someone has
tried to ERASE.

This is often done by Designers
to make anyone have some trouble
to copy their circuit.
It is a bad practice. Better to give the consumer
a PRINTED SCHEMATIC of the circuit.
That give a good relationship to the costumers,
and makes service, modification possible
if anything goes wrong.

Once anyone buy a device, he has pay money
if you say registered for use of his property
in any way he find suitable.

To make it hard for him to use it in all possible ways
is to show mistrust and reduce the value of his product.

On the contrary we have, luckily, other producers
that makes it easy for us. Provides and share their own
knowledge with us. They are the ones doing right.
They cotribute to common knowledgde.
It is those persons we miss and remember
after they are dead.
Their names live long, bacause of their un-selfishness!
One is Nelson Pass, but he is not unique.

BB has no OPamp +-40 V. Not that I know of.

Can it be something else? There are many devices
using 8 pin DIL(DIP).

I did some further searching and found high voltage opamps.
It most probably is the OPA445 (can handle up to +/-45V supplies).

It's the driver stage in an integrated amplifier.
The preamp opamps are "scratched out" as well, but since they are also BB and have supplies of +/-22V on pins 8 and 4, good chance they are OPA2604's.

It's a bit pathetic to do if the circuits are straight forward.
If they were doing something really special, new or innovative I could understand.

Maybe they're ashamed of using ic's in an integrated amplifier and let us think they're doing something very special ?
