Hello all,
I recently made an order of some crossover components. The shipment of the order was done by UPS Ground, which can be tracked. Because I live in Indonesia, I decided to post my order to my cousin in Brokline, MA.
Well, according to the shipment report by supplying the tracking number in ups.com, my order has been delivered to destinee's address SIDE DOOR at June 4th. Funny thing (sad thing, actually)is: The package was never received by my cousin. He even made a long distance call to me telling that he didn't received it.
Have you guys had this kind of problem? I don't know what is UPS Ground Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).... but if nobody is at home, can UPS just leave the package in the side door just like that?
Thx,

If the shipment doesn't say Signature Required, UPS can make a driver release at its own discretion--and usually will. I don't think this means you lose all your rights though--contact the carrier.
