Hi
I am building a nice 2.0 Speaker set for my computer, for the main purpose of listening to music.
The speaker drivers that I will use are 2 units of Peerless by Tymphany TC9FD18-08, one for each side.

I also want these speakers to include a built-in DAC, so not to be dependent on the PC's sound card quality.
I have noticed the Behringer UCA202 is often used, so I can conclude it gives a good sound quality.
But it is quite big for my purpose.
Maybe there is another USB-DAC that is smaller, and cheaper also?
Are any of the ones sold on eBay (for 1$-3$) worth anything?
USB2.0 7.1 CH Virtual Audio Sound Card Adapter for PC Laptop-2.27 Online Shopping| GearBest.com
PC Desktop Windows USB 2.0 3D Virtual 7.1 Channel Audio Sound Card Adapter | eBay
USB To 3.5mm Mic/Headphone Jack Stereo Headset Audio Adapter 7.1 Sound Card New | eBay
They are definitely small, and as can be seen, really cheap..
Anyone tried them?
Thank you

I have UCA202 but i find that a old extern Creative SBLive 5.1 sounds better. Maybe you can buy a used one (new you cant find anymore...) and try it. Under Ubuntu it works great.
Interesting.
Meanwhile I ordered the 3 ones in the links I wrote here..
I will test them and see if they are nice..
