Anthony Gallo-like baffle-less subwoofer reccomandations

Hi,

Has anyone tried to replicate the Antony Gallo baffle-less woofer?

I like its simplicity in design and it seems a aestetially good companion for the Blanda-Gronsaker speaker Dave designed for me.

hardly any box, would need substancial eq, and thusly distortion.
probably 10-15db of boost down to 30hz.

but 4x10's with healthy looking xmax surround.

but I would avoid the rod in between the two woofers.

I haven't read the review. It seems that there are two woofers mounted in the cylinder? if they move in the same direction we have the compound dipole, discussed here https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...baffleless-full-range-speakers.374043/page-10

If not, it is a sealed enclosure?

I don't have many answers to your questions: I wrote here to know if someone would add something more to what I find aestetically pleasant for the Blanda-Gronsaker speaker.
