WTB Antek AS-1T150 toroidal (150v+6.3v)

Wanted to buy
I know this isn't what you asked for, but I suggest asking Toroidy in Poland for a quote for a transformer with the same specs. https://sklep.toroidy.pl/en_US/index

Antek ships by USPS Priority which will be quite expensive. You may be able to get better quality for about the same price, including shipping, as you can from Antek. Unless you're lucky and someone here has one they're looking to part with.

Thanks Tom.

You're absolutely right, it's the Antek shipping that makes them too expensive for me. About $180USD for a $42USD transformer plus shipping and broker fees! That's $300 in my local currency.

I have used Toroidy before but they would still be expensive, but not Antek level expensive.

I guess it's one of the few drawbacks of being located at the bottom of the planet 🤣

I thought I'd try my luck here...

Antek doesn't make sense for those of us in the global North but outside the US either. Shipping that transformer to Canada would set me back $56 in shipping plus $42 for the transformer.

I'm not knocking Antek. In fact, $56 is probably what they pay USPS. They usually use the flat rate boxes and a medium sized flat rate box is $62 to Canada. But for most transformers that I use it means that I might as well buy a Hammond 1182-series from Mouser or a custom job from Toroidy.

Best of luck with your hunt.
