Scotty plays mostly jazz, but fast and clean with great chords.
Marshall Coates only had the 5-string bass for a couple of months before this show. The rythym guitarist, Dwight May, is actually a rock & roller. He is the only one of these guys who had played with Scotty before this gig. Yonrico on drums had an incredible sense of what Scotty was going to do next and was always right there.
They did jam for a couple of hours the night before at my brother's house, but pretty much went on stage with no set list and just went with Scotty's lead for about 4 hours.
