The schematic is in the video or below. Its a very simple little circuit so don't expect great things from it unless you are using LASERs for the TX Diode and a high quality receiver. Obviously upgrading the OPAMP would be essential if you were going to be using it for anything semi-serious and the LM386 has to go!

I would expect also that the sound quality of the received audio will be improved if you beef up the power supply section around the LM7805.

Its a very common schematic just very rarely seen (Last one I saw was 10 years ago, hence the reason why I'm posting this here). so I doubt we will have problems with Copyright.

This would be good for a short run between two shielded metal boxes in a very heavily RF saturated environment or behind the freezer/plasma tv...

LASER sources can be noisy due to interference effects from the coherence of the light with any small reflections from the optical interfaces - actually for amplitude encoding analog signal LED may be better
