Hello,
I am in the process of building a battery powered subwoofer. For the "full range" speaker build I did I just added an extra box on the back to hold the amp and battery.
The question is what is common practice? Do people usually add on a box that holds an amp or does it usually go into the box? If it went in the box I am concerned about it messing with the sound quality. Also because its completely sealed then it would be hard to fix something if needed.
Whats your take on this?
Rex

IMO..
Keep the active units (Bat/Amp) at easy access without disturbing the enclosure in the event of a failure.
