Cassettes are coming back in my priorities as in elsewhere. I've got a small room and 7-10w is sufficient for me as the song and music are prime-most important rather than being purist audiophile. Cassettes comes with noises and hiss as must for Fe or type 1 cassettes what consisted of 99 percent of the sales in its heyday in my land. Chrome (type2), Fe-Cr(type3) and Metal(type4) were unheard stuffs here. I'm looking for an amp made with basic chip mentioned (maybe discontinued but available here) primarily keeping noise / hiss reduction in mind. Are there anyone who can show some light? If any transistor option available, I'm welcome to accept as transistor offers good harmonic distortion, though this forum is aimed for chips.
