This is either impossible, or elementary to connect. I hope it's elementary. But it's not a simple Google search.

No continuity between the grounds on the L/R line level outs on the television. Continuity between line level ins grounds on the subwoofer. No signal-level out is available on the tv.

Photobucket's thumbnail HTML code or their website just refuses to work with me. I've been trying to insert hyperlinked thumbnails straight from their site as well as compiling my own but to no avail.

If these are too big let me know.

There is a mini stereo headphone jack. It's out of sync with the main speakers by almost .80 seconds. I want to use the main speakers along with a flat sub that I've built to slide under the TV stand out of sight. I do no want to add clutter with satellite speakers hanging off of the set or the wall or anywhere else. I tried an optical cable and D/A converter last year and returned it. I can't remember now but there was some conflict with volume that could not be remedied.

Shame that because, strangely, the television provides a super easy to use sliding bar GIU to sync audio at the digital optical port, but offers no such means of adjusting audio at the analog headphone outlet. The "EX LINK" has something to do with running some sort of motorized attachments to the set via the remote.

Last thing I did was to just tap off of the internal speakers to connect with the speaker level inputs of the sub amp. But it turns out that the TV speakers have floating grounds and the sub inputs do not.

After all of this I don't want to just give up and throw a bunch of wired satellites and sub at the thing and call it good.
