I have just finished a headphone amplifier base on Harmon Kardon C17 ,but the differential pair BJT what I used is MAT01
(ADI dual t BJT).Althouth the performace is enough good, I want to improve it. MAT01,you know ,that is a excellent dual matched transistor,I hope there is a better design scheme to make the most of the charactrictics of MAT01.so could someone
help me to ameliorate it ?
Thanks a lot!
apologize for my poor English.😀

what are your goals - which headphones?
headphones vary from 16 Ohms to 600 Ohms and can requre as little as 200mV or as much as 12 V rms to reach 120 dB SPL
an amp with enough gain and V swing for one extreme might be hoplessly noisy and uslessly over sensitive volume adjustment with a headphone from the other end of the impedance and sensitivity range

is a good place to learn about the many options in headphones and amplifiers
