I'm interested in building the Aleph3 amp. However, my local electronics store (I live in Sweden) does not carry any of IRF240, IRF244 or IRF9610.
The closest I can get is IRFP250 and IRF9620. These appear to be uprated versions of the recommended mosfets, but some figures like input capacitance is a little higher.
Has anybody tried these?
Thanks in advance,
Claes

You might want to try going thru the posts in the Pass Labs section of DIYaudio titled ' transistor '. IRFP250 can be used as a possible substitute.

It's No problem at all, I use it in my Aleph 3 also.
I take 10 of them, and get 4 matched for differential pair.
