One of my Alpair 7 EnaBleD driver developed a rubbing voice coil. Unfortunately, I could not find a replacement and had to buy a pair of 7.3 drivers (thanks to a number of people on this forum for pointing me in the right direction).
Can I get way using my old Pensil enclosure by suitably changing the amount of stuffing? If so what is the recommended amount?
Many thanks in advance.
Best,
Giulio

I think Scott has said this design has always been 'fairly flexible'.
Give them a go as is and see?

It is within limits (i.e. it's not a free-for-all; don't try ramming dissimilar drivers into them and expect it to work). However, the 7.3 should go in acceptably; the alignment will change a little, but it will be functional. Beats building a new set of boxes.

Thank you both! Should I expect to have to reduce or increase the amount of stuffing? In the latter case, I'll have to buy it in order to experiment.
