So many projects so little time. I finally received my metal plates, very cheap i might add 70lbs of metal for about 200USD, any cut, any size, very fast.

Being very busy these days with work and being broke I've been piecing this together slowly, but its well worth it, so I thought I'd slap something together, throw a few pics out and get some comments.

thats a 1500VA trafo 38V sec
49000uF caps
1/2" baseplate
1/2"frontplate
1/4" backplate
1/4" top plate

With the higher voltage on the secondaries, I plan on mounting 3 transistors on each heatsink, there are a total of four sinks per monoblock @ 12" x 9 7/8" x 2.3" high fin. These babies are gonna be hot and heavy weighing in at 95 to 100 lbs each.:devilr:

Looking goooood 😉

You may want to place a separator in beetween lower-transformer and upper PCB level as an additional aluminium plate.
This should reduce tranformer influence on the remaining parts of amplifier.

Trigon.🙂
