adm 780 and 1540 racking

Hi, I also just acquired a pair of ADM 780's (from the US) and am in a similar situation to you.
Planning to use the main pre-amp section for recording rock bands etc. and also planning to rack mount it with other gear
However, I do have an old schematic and have been digging into it with the 780 circuit board out of its case and documenting the purpose of the 56 possible connection points.

Many of the top and bottom connectors were bridged when the units arrived but one in particular is inconsistent; Pin 12 and *12 are bridged and the diagram apparently shows these two as PRE OUT HI and PRE OUT LOW balanced output for patching to an external processor.
I was thinking of using it as the pre amp output

Meanwhile the power supply needs are more than I guessed.
Phantom power for MIC is not provided for; the logic section needs 18-24V and the audio amps need +20V, -20V

There is a local (to me) guy who does custom lunch box and racks
http://www.jlmaudio.com/neveracks.htm
but I will see if I can do it myself first.
PS: Schematic image is too big to attach here.

Me Too..

I have 1pre & 1eq also

I would love to hear what you guys are planning for the getting these racked up.

*Note* For the power supply, you don't really need to the logic supply, unless you really really want the lights to work. 😛

I might be able to provide a pcb for a power supply that can do +/- 20V and +48V phantom.

Have you guys made any progress?
