What about this?
Subwoofers - Adelaide Speakers - Ascension
How can any real tranmission line be in a standard small box like this? They call it unique but do not mention in what way. It just looks like a bass reflex to me (maybe with a resistive port).
Can anyone point me to a reference on short transmission line design, if it does actually exist?

I have a pair of innersound hybrid electrostats. They are flat to 35hz with an 8" driver, and roll off at 6db per octave. Check this out Transmission Line White Paper
Thanks guys,
I know about TL speakers ... the old IMF TLS80 were good in their day and the TDL Reference Standard RSTL were amongst the best speakers I have heard (http://digilander.libero.it/piani/cataloghi_tdl/tdl_electronics_reference.jpg the ones on the left).
However, these were big speakers. I have read about MLTL and have Mathcad along with the King models. I have not played around with it yet but the speakers are still fairly big. Look again at the Adelaide Speakers subwoofers and specifications. The cabinets are small in relation to the driver size yet the 3dB point is 20 Hz (eg 1222PTL). It just does not seem right, even with a folded cabinet.
Now the TDL RSTL was really something! That would be a great project.

I owned a pair of TDL RSLSs in the 90s as a youngster!! I would like to build a big TL again based on either the JBL2245H or Volt RV4564 18" Bass drivers, the TDLs were big but my new design will be considerably larger!!
