Add a preamp to help with overall volume

I've build a portable speaker box with a sure electronics jab2 board. When I use the built in Bluetooth or line-in I get a max volume of 89db (Not loud enough for my liking).

When I use a Google Chrome Cast audio through line-in, I get a max volume of 98db, so about twice as loud!

So how can I improve the standard line-in and Bluetooth signal?

Could I buy one of these small NE5532?

I'm using a Samsung S8 if you're wondering, plus I've used multiple devices including a pc with all having the same result.

Awesome, will I lose out on quality?
I guess the Chrome Cast has something close to x4 gain but the quality is still good.
