I was thinking of converting an Adcom GSP 560 chassis to a chipamp chassis.
I know that the stock transformer voltage is too high for an LM3886, but I believe that this unit can be converted to run on 240V instead of 120V and was wondering if that conversion which would then be run on 120V would lower the transformer voltage properly to make it appropriate for LM3886 chipamp use.
Is anyone familiar with this chassis and voltages and the 120-to-240 conversion?
Any information appreciated.
