Acopian POOGE'd

There would seem to be no reason to POOGE this Acopian supply -- save for the fact that it is dead (the pass transistor isn't shot, however, and the transformer is OK). Nice thing about it is that there is a separate winding on the power supply for potentially using an AD825 as error amplifier. The very nice thing about Acopians is that they are small (8.5 * 3 * 1.7 inches), shielded, well made and cheap. the PCB for the error amp will slide into the box on rails designed for that purpose -- I do need dual outputs so a "rail splitter" will be deployed.

The supply was in a piece of equipment used by an oil service company down in Houston -- it was outboard to a HP5328 frequency counter -- nothing worked buy it sold for a song and now I have 3 very nice cabinets, one of which is going to be home for a new preamp.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
