I want to make some turntable mat, do you have any material recommendations for me?
Currently I can think of copper, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, carbon fiber, and acrylic.
Are there other materials with better shock absorption effects?

Sound Damped Steel (SDS) is based on the principles of constrained layer damping, which can also be applied to aluminium.
Perhaps Sorbothane sheet sandwiched between two aluminium discs?
Don't forget to machine in a recess to accommodate the record label.
