Have been very long time doing research the schematics,
have been very long time building Amps,
I've strongly realize that -- the attunement is so critical to the top!
I've seen many projects only provided by somewhat hazy pics,or only post a schematic.
Shouldn't we added some tunint tips?
After listing the propertys of the elements, can we just further something about the parameters and kinds of choices and say some reasons?
Any way, I post this thread was for some research about the attunement skills,
need all of you to take part in of course
P.S.
I've planed to move as below:
Step1.Doing research on the schematics(spice on the theory)
Step2.Layout it (tips,attentions,experince)
Step3.Test that(scope that at least) for the distortion
Step4.Listen it and change the element slowly and compare how it acts.
Step5.Repeat it more and more if needed.
But the problem is: although I know this will be work, but I didn't exactly clear what the standard of each the steps.

Hmm, at first you might set some basic parameters, how much power, cheap or expensive, nice or good sounding amp, availability of parts, what kind of speakers to drive (4/8ohm, small/big, efficiency, closed/vented)

Ary, designing an amp is apart from the technical background trying and listening. It's a lot of detail work, most devices were selected by technical specs and/or availability. The feedback compensation needs the most attention in detail, internal ringing and overshooting is the enemy of the sound.

1)start building something based on proven design and layout.
2)still the same design but design your own layout to suite your need.
3)modify or improve the design and still design your own layout.
4)finally,design your own!
Depends,test and measurement equipments are essential(at least a multimeter).Spice software is optional to me but layout design software is important.
