I just bought this thing on E-Bay and I can't get it to work. I get two blinking lights and the controls do nothing. Any insights? Any one with a manual on this beast. I do get the startup screen and holding down the clear button produces an "Erased" message but nothing else works. Any help appreciated.

Found my problem. Bad video cable. The blinking lights mean no signal found.
