I haven't spent much time on this for a while but I thought I would throw it out to you guys to see if you have any suggestions.. I built a set of MTMs about 5 years ago to run off my mostly stock ST-70. The drivers are Focal 8V4412 and Ceretec C36 1 3/16" domes. Cabinets are around 2ft3 @ 40hz... They sounded absolutely wonderfull with the ST-70 with a 1st order series crossover at 1800Hz, just two parts in the network.....

About a year ago I built my own AKSA 100 stereo amplifier to replace the ST-70. I sounded much more detailed with much better bass than the ST-70, but could easily be hard on the ears with moderate to higher volume levels. I designed a set of 3rd order networks at about 2200Hz and it is much better, I also padded the tweeter down about 1 1/2db and added a zobel for the woofers. I still am not happy with them though.... I was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with these drivers and might have some helpfull ideas. I really haven't worked on these as much as could have as of late, but I'm still tinkering with them from time to time.

The mains play through an ICBM active crossover to a set of Tumults in EBS alignments with about 2.5Kw per driver.... Crossed over at around 40Hz, if it's even relevant or not...

Thanks in advance for any ideas....
