Hi,
In a conversation about DCR, dual chamber bass reflex box, someone pointed this website:
http://paginas.terra.com.br/educacao/claudionegro/english/
The author of this website shows for comparison the DBR (DCAAV) box. I would like to learn more about this box and the advantages over a standard ported box.
Thanks!

Do a search for DCAAV. You wil find a spanish page - that google will translate for you - that has an analysis with graphs. The second diaphragm null causes a zero (notch) in the response in the passband. It is quite possible that with an adequate damping strategy, this could be minimized, but you see they found little difference from a standard vented alignment in extension - at least for their one test case.
