7W7 tube - how it competes with other pentodes as driver?

I've read in Pete Millett's description of his 307A Push-Pull Amp
some good words on 7W7 pentode. Can somebody compare it
to some more well known pentodes of similar specs (not only
cheap ones) as driver tube both in pentode and triode modes?

My friend, I get a lot of this tubes for make experiences in the next months...
You test it in triode mode ?

No I did not test it yet.
I found interesting info in old book: "...7V7, 7W7, and 14W7 are actually
hexodes, but since g2 and g3 are internally connected and function as a
single screen grid they are usually considered as pentodes".

I made some tests with the 7W7 and it work really fine...
Good bass, good definition, is superior in triode mode.
I can post a video in the future.

Yes, I compare with the Tesla E180F and the 7W7 sound the best.
More bass, same refinement in mids and highs, best vocals.
