74HC4040 for 1541A BCK divider - which version (35 or 98MHz)?

Hi,

I'm wanting divide BCK on TDA1541A with 74HC4040 as outlined here;

I can get either 74HC4040N or CD74HC4040E, Clock frequencies are 98MHz and 35MHz respectively - which is the correct IC for the application?

44.1KHZ/2.82MHZ/11.2896MHZ

The clock frequency on the respective data sheets is simply stated being either 98MHz or 35MHz.

Found the data sheet which says 'Max.' Clock Frequency.

22.5792Mhz is what I have for 44.1Hz.

35MHz or 98MHz - is this to say that they would work equally well, with no difference when being fed 22.5792MHz?
