Hey everybody,
im building my first guitar amp and my design requires a 60 Vdc supply that can supply up to 5A current. Although it is very innefficient i want to build a linear power supply because it is the only type i know how to build right now🙂. My problem is finding a proper voltage regulator for this...can anyone help by sending me a link or something? It would be much appreciated. I am new to power supply design and all i can seem to find are regulators that will put out like 24V and that sort of range.
Alrite, thanks for the help.

Pardon my butting in, but I have never heard of a guitar amplifier that needs a regulated supply. Four diodes and one or two capacitors is almost always sufficient.
