I am almost ready to power up my amp but after reading some threads
I decided to ditch the Sovtek 5u4g , I have a sylvania 5u4gb I would like to use , any concerns ? from what I gather the 5u4gb is just beefier. ALso what is pin one for on these tubes:ashamed:

I'm using the Sovtek 5U4G for my monoblocks and they work well. The "B" basically gives you the potential for 50 more mA (275 vs. 225 IIRC). DC voltage is 450 in both.

Only pins 2,4,6 and 8 are connected.
