Is there any design software for a 2 or 3 way speaker? I want to design my own speaker cabinets. May be I need some 3 way frecuency divider... but I want to build it myself. Thanks!
Hi,
Good luck with it but your taking on a lot of technical issues.
take a look at : https://sites.google.com/site/undefinition/tarkus
or the 3-ways here : HTGuide Forum - A Guide to HTguide.com Completed Speaker Designs.
or this : http://www.zaphaudio.com/ZDT3.5.html

I read some stuff, but now I have more things to think about. There are many different filter designs, so, how do they modify the sound or what is the effect when they attenuate 6dB, 12dB, 24db... I want all 3 way well differenced... any tips?
Hi,
If you want a good 3-way simply build one of the designs detailed,
e.g. the Tarkus, the ZDT3.5, the Daedelus etc ....
C/o slopes are about what suits the particular drivers, there are
no rules, or real choices for each driver, given acoustic targets.
If you want minimalist c/o's consider : Zaph|Audio

With regards to choosing the type of filter, you'll want to ensure that the individual drivers have their 'issues' taken out of the picture. Other than this the total response is the main concern and for the time being it may be wise to consider it as the only issue.
By the way, separating the drivers thoroughly the way you have suggested may not be such a good thing. It will make your job of matching the acoustic nature of the drivers even more critical.
