Indeed! In a concrete block room I imagine they can generate enough pressure to modulate the mains!

Thanks - yes your quite right. They were having an effect on the mains before I EQd them. The room is a horrible shape (8ft wide x 8ft tall x 16ft long) producing nasty modes. The rest of the room has sound absorbtion material and rugs on the walls.
I wanted distortion free bass - and this provides it with ease.
Need to look into making speakers but from what I have seen it gets a whole lot more complicated.
With 8 ft multiples, I'm surprised you can get it that flat.
Simple 12-15" mid bass woofer + compression horn is easy enough and can handle the pressure.

8 x 8 x 16 - a room where a fart still resonates long after the stink has gone.
I used to have a living room like that, so you have all my pity.
Damn good work with the subs - I don´t think you´ll file them under "wasted time and money".
