12V Battery operated amps

I was just wondering whether there are dedicated sites for 12V Car battery operated amplifiers. Please let me know.

Try the Texas Instruments and International Rectifier websites for switching amplifiers. I think you might find the components easier to obtain using a switching power supply and something like the National Semi LM3875 single-chip amp -- I have this operating in one of my cars.
