Affordable shunt caps?

I have some of those.

Vishay have a good reputation in general. Make sure they are bi-polar. Check the Voltage rating. Sometimes when you have a choice but are unsure of the specifications, you should consider the larger one.

Motor starter capacitor has very high current capacity comparing with the usual one's. This is the reasons for big can.
Usually is more easy to find this type of capacitors comparing with high current big value electrolytic non-polar .

Thanks! Any specific brands to look for?
To be honest, any reputable brand. Panasonic, Vishay, Nichicon, RS Pro, Kemet, Rubycon, Elna, Bennic, Cornell... just go for a higher voltage rating where possible & the closest tolerance available, since it shouldn't cost much more. If you want to have one with an 'audio brand name' printed on the side, Visaton, Monacor, Mundorf and Jantezn for e.g. all carry them. But most will simply go to an OEM like one of the aforementioned & buy a batch with their name printed on the side, so there isn't likely to be much difference, if any, other than price.

I Have found than FT lythics have more precision than Mundorf lythics about capacitance while being the same. I put big capacitance when shunt with lythic and adjust unprecision of lythics with SCR poly that are often in the 2% to have L&R channel capicitance concistency. Sometimes a bass low pass needs precision to setup the bass damping you like in your oom according what you work with : LCR or shunt of a second or higher order filter.

I've used genelec film motor caps in my H182 organ for the 450 v B+ supply. They were huge, but 600 vac rated and won't go high ESR in 15 years. There is lots of room in an organ case. I installed a separate case for them, ran 600 v rated wire over 18".

F&T bipolar electrolytic capacitors.

100V is more than enough. Voice coils in your speakers will be charred long before any amplifier get close to even 50 volts.

Or you can use polar elco Panasonic FC connected in series by - terminals back to back.

I've failed to perceive or measure any difference between those. Compared it to motor run iCar ecofill caps (which are very well regarded in audiophile world).
