I'm looking for opinions about modding any of the components on this crossover. Any recommendations on which parts and what I might replace them with would be much appreciated, thanks!

Change nothing.

the blue capacitor is philips mkt with copper leads(non magnetic),the resistor is also very good from Denmark and non magnetic ,non inductive and the air coil is from solen.
pretty good for stock crossover.

in my dynaudio contour 1.8mk 2 the stock resistor was same danish brand and all caps was solen mkp fc ,after upgrading all the resistors to mills 12 and 5 watt and keep the stock solens caps gives only small improvement in sq ,
and the big improvement was only to
replace dry(measures bad) 15uf bipolar caps with mkt
one for each speaker .

Thanks, eldad! So, sounds like a Solen or a Bennic in place of the Philips wouldn't be much better here I take it?

You may just percieve a difference which is not correlated to a better sound, and maybe the sound difference could comes for less screwed screw of the boomer, less proof sealed joint of the driver or back removed, self bias...

I always considered philips caps had a diferent tonal color , something more dark or stuffed... or maybe it was just because philips is just Dynaudio nextdoor neighboor ;) who knows ! Anyway Dynaudio is known for its excelent tweeter sound, so imo they knew what they made. Notice they soldered a mkt, not a cheap lytic cap... all is said : construc to last forever !

Yest Philips MKT is good enough but the little Dynaudio needs strong amps to shake.
