This is like the IEC filter circuit I have except there is no switch before the filter as in this diagram.

This is connected through an ordinary switch inside the amp (which does have some caps across it) on the Live line to a tube transformer. When I measure voltage at transformer input it is 228V with switch off. With switch on it is 235V
