This page lists pages that aren't really valid wiki contributions. They are often accidentally posted by people who don't yet know the system.
[top]How To Deal with Non-Articles
When you encounter one of these wiki mistakes, please do the following:
- add a discussion post on the wiki page that says the following:
Code:
--- BEGIN COPY ---
Wiki articles are for sharing knowledge with other members.
If you would like to discuss a topic or ask questions, please start a new thread in the relevant forum.
For more information on this, please see [URL="http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_usage#faq_vb3_forums_threads _posts"]FAQ: Forums, Threads and Posts[/URL]
--- END COPY ---
This will tell the user that they've made a booboo. Then, please add the url to that wiki page to the site below. Some day, the page will get nuked (when we figure out how that can be done).
- Edit the Article and add the following to the end of the article:
HTML Code:
[category]DeleteMe[/category]
[top]Those Who Must Be Killed
Have a look at the
DeleteMe Category; that shows all of the pages that need to be deleted.
